كَانْ هُناكْ عَدد مِنْ النَجْماتْ
التيِ كَانتْ تَتَساقطْ دَاخلْ عَيني وَ أنا علىَ كَتِفكْ
وَ فيِ غِيابكْ عَادتْ إِلىَ السَماءْ

There were a number of stars
Which was falling into my eyes and I'm on your shoulder
  In  your absence returned to the sky
